‘The Importance of Place’: new booklet published
15 December 2021
The Eastern Arc region is unique. Stretching across the East and South-East of England, from the Wash to the Channel, ours is a region of contrasts. It is a region of significant prosperity and stark deprivation, of urban centres and agricultural richness, of natural beauty and historic significance, of trade, transport, migration and movement.
A new booklet has been published highlighting Eastern Arc’s engagement with our region, and the importance it places in working to address its needs by harnessing its strengths.
The booklet also sets out the Consortium’s position on the Government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda, and how it should work to identify areas of social and economic deprivation at a more granular level.
The booklet is available on our Issuu publication site, and as a pdf here.
