Last year Wellcome launched their new strategy, at the heart of which was ‘discovery research’. Within this, there is funding for research within the humanities and social sciences (HSS), but how does this work in practice?

As part of EARC’s ongoing series of funder webinars, we invited Dr Tom Bray to talk about Wellcome’s provision for HSS. Dr Bray is a Senior Research Manager in the Discovery Research team at Wellcome, with a focus on supporting research on health and wellbeing in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
