Save the date: health conference for early career researchers – 8 July 2025

Eastern Arc has joined forces with the University of Essex’s School of Health and Social Care and Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing to host the first annual ECR Health Conference. The event will be open to early career researchers (ECRs) and post-graduate research students working at any of the Eastern Arc universities (Essex, Kent, Sussex and UEA).

The conference will do two things:

• Firstly, to offer a creative and supportive space for ECRs to share their research and talk to those across the Consortium who are at a similar career stage;
• Secondly, to encourage interdisciplinary working. As such, we will welcome a wide range of proposals for sessions, from clinical research to the medical humanities, sociology, policy, public health and wellbeing.
