ECR Health Conference: Call for papers open

The call for papers for our first health and wellbeing conference was launched today, with a deadline of 10 March. 

Held in conjuction with the School for Health and Care and the Institute for Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of Essex, this is the first conference we have held that is aimed specifically at early career researchers (ECRs).

The conference will provide an opportunity for ECRs to share their research and engage with a diverse range of different disciplines, as well as getting experience of presenting it to a large, supportive audience.

Focussing on ‘Reimagining Health and Wellbeing Across Societies and Systems’, the Conference is seeking proposals for sessions on areas including (but not limited to):

  • Digital Health and Human System Interaction
  • Health Inequalities, Human Rights, and Social Justice
  • Sustainable Health Systems and the Environment
  • Culture, Community, and Resilience
  • Gender Equity
  • Mental Health, Trauma, and Wellbeing
  • Non-Communicable Diseases and Neurodevelopmental Conditions
  • Healthy Ageing
  • Social Policy, Social Care, and Welfare
  • Vulnerability and Health
  • Biology of health and disease
