‘Sanctuary Solidarities’: Resources now available from our Conference 2025

Resources are now available from our annual conference, which this year took place at the University of Sussex and focussed on ‘Sanctuary Solidarities’.

With the rise in far-right populism, violent conflict and the bolstering of borders, our conference this year looked at the part university staff and students can and should play in forging solidarities with those seeking sanctuary, but also at how they should participate in contested and increasingly polarised debates about migration.

The dedicated webpage includes photos and slides from the event, together with summaries of each session, based on the original abstracts. Recordings of the sessions taking place in the main plenary space are currently being processed and will be made available as appropriate.
