‘Food in a time of crisis’: Registration for our conference 2023 now open

08 August 2023

Registration is now open for our multidisciplinary conference focusing on ‘food in a time of crisis’, which will take place at the University of Kent on 20 September.
At the conference, we’ll hear about the issues facing our dysfunctional food system, and regional moves to address these and develop sustainable and equitable alternatives. We’ll see robotics being used to harvest soft fruit, explore urban agriculture from around the world, and even have a chance to use creative writing to explore issues of food, identity and migration.
It’s free and open to all, and we actively encourage a range of delegates, each of whom can bring a different perspective. We welcome academics and external stakeholders, businesses, policymakers, community leaders and charities, NHS trusts and local authorities, among many others. However, places are limited, so do register as soon as you can using this form (~30 seconds to complete). Registration closes on 11 Sept.
More details of the programme and how to get to the venue are available here. If you have any questions, get in touch with us at info@easternarc.ac.uk.
