EARC postgraduate training opportunity: MoJ Data First datasets
03 March 2021
Eastern Arc is working in partnership with the Ministry of Justice to provide training for postgraduate students on the Data First project datasets.
Data First was set up by the MoJ to unlock the potential of the wealth of data it has already created, by linking administrative datasets from across the justice system and enabling accredited researchers, from within government and academia, to access the data in an ethical and responsible way. The project will also enhance the linking of justice data with other government departments. To find out more about the system, click here.
The training would benefit anyone who may have an interest in justice data, but in particularly PGR students looking for data to focus on in their developing study, and those who are writing up and considering postdoctoral projects.
If you want to take part in the training contact p.ward@easternarc.ac.uk by 31 March 2021. He will then arrange the sessions for a time to suit participants and the MoJ.
