Eastern Arc Mentoring Guides

The Eastern Arc Mentoring scheme is intended to be as non-bureaucratic and as non-hierarchical as possible, and we leave the mentees and mentors to decide both the frequency and format of their meetings, depending on the needs of the mentee and the capacity of the mentor.

Mentoring guides

Whilst the scheme is intentionally ‘hands-off’, we do offer guidance for those taking part. This includes an introductory meeting, at which we outline the purpose and expectations of mentoring, and also hear from some of the people who have taken part in the past so that new participants can get an idea of what’s involved.

In addition, we have three guides available:

These are free and available to all on an open access basis.
