May 2025 CoP Event

On 22nd May 2025 we launched our new Community of Practice. Hosted by the University of Essex, 40 people gathered to meet, discuss and establish some initial themes for the Community going forward.

Using the Open Space meeting format, we uncovered 34 different discussion topics that fell into six broad themes:

  • Social, political and demographic change
  • Climate change impacts
  • Ecology, wildlife and human connection to nature
  • Creativity and civic agency
  • Food, farming and fisheries
  • Housing and health care

These themes are broad, open to interpretation and fluid.
