“Europe and its discontents” one day Eastern ARC workshop

20 April 2016

This one-day workshop is intended to bring together quantitative social scientists from UEA, Essex and Kent.

“Europe and its discontents” will be held on Thursday May 12th, between 10am and 4pm, in the East London Centre, Stratford.

The title should be interpreted broadly: we’re more interested in building a community of quantitative social scientists than in establishing a shared substantive interest and presentations would be welcomed from sociologists, economists and political scientists.

If you are interested in giving a presentation on the day (of about 30 minutes), please email me Chris Hanretty at c.hanretty@uea.ac.uk with a proposed title by Friday 29th April. Presentations might be presentations of work in progress, or presentations of work recently published.

If you’re not interested in presenting, but would still like to attend, please email c.hanretty@uea.ac.uk by Friday 29th April to book your place.

This event is free to attend for those from the Eastern ARC universities. Lunch will be provided as well as reimbursement for (reasonable) transport costs if needed.
